TWITTER
Elon Musk has already fired 3700 employees after he took over Twitter. He is planning to sack more twitter employees in 2023.
AMAZON
Amazon laid off 10,000 employees lately and is expected to fire 260 workers from data science and software development teams.
META
After sacking 11,000 employees due to bad economic condition, Meta is highly expected to fire more people to cut down its cost.
MICROSOFT
Microsoft laid off 1800 employees in July, 200 in August, and 1000 recently. There is high chance of laying off in 2023 as well due to economic pressure.
BETTER
Firing 900 employees in April, and then 1500 to 3100 in the next few months, Better will continue with the layoffs of 250 roles in 2023.
NETFLIX
Netflix is losing its subscribers at a fast pace. It lost 20,000 subscribers in the beginning of 2022. Hence, huge lay-offs are expected.
HCL TECHNOLOGIES
HCL has fired 350 employees working on Microsoft's news-related products, expected to lay off in 2023 also.
